AAP members demand justice for Dalits
Balangir: Members of the Aam Aadmi Party, Balangir unit demanded
justice to the Dalit families who faced torture and exploitation and staged a
demonstration in the district on Monday. Led by Ajaya Das and Radhaballav
Mishra, the party members also demanded action against Union Minister VK Singh
for his anti-Dalit remarks. They criticised Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for
the rising incidents of farmer suicides in the State. The party activists
submitted a memorandum to the President of India through the District
Collector. Additional District Magistrate Ashok Naik received the memorandum.
