B’ngir DP panel celebrates completion of 25 yrs
Balangir: The Jagannath Pada Durga Puja committee on Tuesday
organised a special function to mark completion of its 25 years. District
Collector M Muthukumar formally released a souvenir of the Puja panel. “We have
completed 25 years of celebration of the Durga Puja festival. We are trying to
exhibit our journey in this year’s theme and the design has been put on a
Rajasthani temple one. Mostly aluminum foil has been used to decorate the
temple,” said Rabindra Narayan Naik, who designed the Dugra Mandap this year.
Among others, Balangir Municipality Vice-Chairman Lipishree Sai, noted
litterateur Dr Srinibas Udgata and Jagdananda Chhuria were present.
